- 1963His first short film, "Gli Specchi" ("The Mirrors"), won the diploma of honor in the World Cinema School Film Festival in Tokyo
- 1964Graduated from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Rome with a degree in Film and Television Directing
- 1965Returned to Iran and started his career

- 1974Received "The Best Documentary Film" award for the movie "The Night It Rained" at the 3rd Tehran International Film Festival
