Modern and Contemporary Art

Meeting Art Vercelli holds an auction for modern and contemporary art from 1 to 9 October 2022. This is an autumn auction, entitled “Music for the Eyes” which features works from artists such as Giorgio de Chirico, Gino Severini, Carla Accardi, Paul Jenkins, and Hans Hartung. The chosen title is referring to the role of music in the creation process of the artists’ works.

Meeting Art auction house was founded in 1979 by Mario Carrara according to his experience in managing art galleries, and it holds its auctions in his memory today.

One work by the Iranian artist   Gohar Dashti, is featured in this auction.
