Offside Trap

O Gallery presents “Offside Trap”, a collection of paintings and installations by Vahid Danaeifar (b. 1983, Tehran). In order to outline his central idea, Danaeifar takes advantage of different mediums and forms in line with his main narrative. The central concept of “Offside Trap” revolves around the momentary decision-making process and how the brain works in relation to these moments.

To examine this process, he has turned specifically to the game of soccer and has followed the political and social implications of these important decision-making moments beyond the soccer field.
