In the Depths of Darkness

Statement:

This series explores light and darkness-a pursuit that has always been an inseparable part of painting for me. It is a search for understanding the buried layers of the mind, beginning new games, and undertaking new challenges.

Throughout the time between the first and the last painting of this series, I have traversed a path filled with loss and with glimpses of narratives from the beginning of my life until now.

It is as though I have been a witness for millions of years-from the dawn of history to the end of the world-standing and watching as what once seemed enduring turned into a breeze and was carried away by the wind.
