Just Playing

Statement:

Playing is not merely a physical act; it is a way of conversing with the child within a child who speaks through lines and expresses feelings through colors.

Through experience and play, the child blurs the boundary between logic and emotion, stepping into a world beyond that of an ordinary child.

In this world being formed, the child and the grown adult are in constant conflict.

Amidst these tensions, painting becomes a means of entering a world that is honest, curious, and sincere a world where imagination and play are not leisure, but duty.

From these struggles, characters and chaotic forms emerge - an effort to reclaim that sense of childhood where mistakes hold no meaning and every step is a new discovery.

The little child within me and the ordinary adult I have become remind me that creativity is born from play.

For me, painting is that boundless playground where I play, build, and destroy - fearlessly.
