For years, we have seen the world solely through the human gaze—a world that seems to unfold for our looking, while color, in the service of sustaining that gaze, transforms nature into something familiar, legible, and possessable.
In this body of work, however, color is released from that role. It no longer describes the landscape; instead, it becomes a presence in its own right—a presence that pushes the human impulse to possess and control to the margins.
Here, the forest, the water, and the trees are no longer backdrops to human presence. The scale of the world exceeds the human figure, and the landscape reclaims its autonomy. The human being may exist within it, without becoming its center.
The dream of the world begins with this shift: the dream is no longer our dream of the world, but the world’s own dream.
For a moment, we stand at its edge—not as its owners, but as witnesses.
