فرش پارسی

«فرش پارسی» عنوان نمایشی از کارهای داریوش حسینی است که در سال 1394 خلق شده اند. این نمایش مجموعه‌ای از آثار تزیینی این هنرمند می‌باشند. این آثار با فرم‌هایی مینیمالیستی، همزمان رنگ و بویی انتقادی نیز دازند.

"Persian Carpet" is a decorative series with minimalist qualities and a political and critical undertone. In this series, the plurality and repetition of locusts have been metaphorically used as the warp and weft of a carpet as well as political imagery. In fact, the present series' works indicate that one does not need to display human figures to express critical, political, or pathological concepts. In these paintings, the symmetrical quality is created indirectly, that is, by the spreading of colors all over the canvas, and the color palette used in each work – much like in a carpet – is restrained.
