"Green Parcels" is a response to the toxic legacies of the land Hemami has occupied in the Dogpatch, Bayview, and Hunters Point neighborhoods in San Francisco, where she’s had a studio for the past twenty-five years. The project aims to connect homes, neighborhoods, and communities through artist-led activities and creative actions.
