Ashkar

"Ashkar" is a graffiti writer and artist who began his practice in Tehran more than a decade ago, focusing on Persian-style writing. His visual language combines elements of Iranian calligraphy, Western graffiti structures, and forms derived from nature, which have developed through his ongoing practice in urban spaces. He has participated in graffiti-related projects and events in Iran and also explores his visual language through painting and other artistic mediums.
